Abstract: Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) have become an essential component of modern industrial control systems. This paper discusses the design and implementation of WSNs in various industrial applications, including manufacturing, energy management, and environmental monitoring. Key challenges such as energy efficiency, data reliability, and network security are addressed. The paper also highlights recent advancements in low-power communication protocols, sensor miniaturization, and wireless data transmission, which have contributed to the growing use of WSNs in control engineering.
