Abstract: This paper is prepared with a keen focus on the requirement of blood in emergency situation. Our project blood bank locator is an android application for mobile which bridges the gap between the person who needs blood and is in search of a donor. Our application involves the functionality of user which creates an account in the app and then login by using the same user id and password. The registration asks for the information such as first name, last name, gender, email and password. After login the page with two options is activated: new donor and donor search. There is a GPS application integrated with the application which helps the user to track down the location. In the search donor, there application asks for blood group and the GPS enters the location. The result search shows the donors living in that area only that are registered. In the new donor, the application requires name, mobile, blood type, and locality. The information is added to the database system. The database used in our application is Firebase which is cloud real time database. The information storage in firebase is not in table like format. The search result provides information such as name, phone no. and blood group. The mobile application always updates the location which makes it easy for the user the track the donor. The goal of our application is to find the suitable donor as soon as possible for the receiver.
