Abstract: NewsChef is an android application built for the purpose of delivering news content that is gathered from more than one source and thus opposing all the conventional news systems. Other existing news applications allow user to process content that is constructed by their respective sources and thus restricting the user in terms of the variety of the news data. NewsChef is developed keeping in mind, the variations in the interests of users. It will empower user with the freedom of opting to read content from more than 50 top news sources with the likes of ESPN, BBC News, The Telegraph, Al Jazeera, Business Insider, The Hindu, MTV News and many more. NewsChef also provides with the feature of switching between Trending news, which displays news articles from multiple sources and news from a particular source. NewsChef will also allow it’s users to download a particular news article and later read it offline, a feature with a crucial role to play when there is limited internet data. Plus, the user will also be able to share any news article on major social networking apps like Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, etc. and through mailing networks like Gmail, Outlook and Yahoo Mail, and with the help of text messaging too.NewsChef also dominates over other news applications in the context of storage space consumption, as it works with relatively low space, as the news content is fetched from the server side on the runtime. In terms of internet usage, it will use only few MBs for delivering the best possible content to the user.
