Abstract: Mental health support is a critical component of holistic care in pediatric and gynecological nursing. This paper examines the role of mental health support in these fields, highlighting its importance for patient well-being and recovery. It discusses various mental health challenges faced by patients, including anxiety, depression, and stress, and the impact on their overall health. The study reviews different approaches to providing mental health support, such as counseling, therapy, and support groups, and their effectiveness in pediatric and gynecological settings. The findings suggest that integrating mental health support into routine care can significantly enhance patient outcomes and quality of life. Challenges such as stigma, limited resources, and the need for specialized training are also addressed, providing recommendations for improving mental health support in these fields.
