Abstract:Maternal mental health plays a crucial role in child development, and understanding its impact is essential for promoting optimal outcomes for children worldwide. This paper examines the influence of maternal mental health on child development from a cross-cultural perspective. By analyzing the existing literature, we explore how various cultural factors interact with maternal mental health to shape children's development and well-being. The paper also highlights the importance of addressing maternal mental health issues within diverse cultural contexts and provides recommendations for interventions and policy approaches that can support mothers and enhance child outcomes globally.
