Nursing Innovation in Patient-Centered Care: Bridging the Gap between Scientific Advancements and Humanitarian Compassion in Modern Clinical Practice
Abstract
The integration of nursing innovation into patient-centered care reflects a transformative shift in healthcare that aligns advanced clinical practices with the fundamental human needs of empathy, dignity, and individualized attention. This paper explores how innovation in nursing—through technology, communication models, and personalized interventions—has created a bridge between the scientific rigor of evidence-based care and the emotional intelligence required for holistic healing. By investigating current literature, identifying practical challenges, and evaluating future prospects, this study emphasizes the critical role of nurses as not just caregivers but innovators in humanizing health services. It also proposes ways to systematize and support innovation within nursing to further enhance patient outcomes while maintaining the essence of compassionate care.
