Abstract: The integration of advanced robotics into modern manufacturing has transformed industries worldwide, driving automation and improving efficiency. Among the most innovative advancements in this field are collaborative robots (cobots), which work alongside human operators, offering flexibility, safety, and increased productivity. This review explores the evolution, technological advancements, and applications of collaborative robots in modern manufacturing environments. We discuss the key features of cobots, including their ease of integration, collaborative capabilities, and their impact on workforce dynamics. Furthermore, this paper examines the various industries that have adopted cobots, challenges faced during implementation, and future trends in collaborative robotics. The findings emphasize the significant role of cobots in reshaping the future of manufacturing, with a focus on enhancing human-robot interaction, improving safety, and optimizing production processes.
