Abstract: Mechatronics, an interdisciplinary field combining mechanical engineering, electronics, computer science, and control engineering, has revolutionized modern manufacturing technology. The integration of these diverse technologies has led to the development of advanced mechatronics systems, enhancing efficiency, precision, and flexibility in manufacturing processes. This paper explores the evolution, applications, and future prospects of mechatronics in manufacturing technology. By examining various case studies and technological advancements, we aim to provide a comprehensive understanding of how mechatronics is reshaping the manufacturing landscape. The integration of robotics, intelligent control systems, and real-time data processing has not only improved production capabilities but also enabled the development of smart factories. These advancements are crucial for meeting the increasing demands for high-quality products, customization, and rapid production cycles. Furthermore, this paper discusses the challenges and potential solutions associated with the implementation of mechatronics in manufacturing, including issues related to system integration, cost, and workforce training.
