Abstract: Pediatric massage is a therapeutic practice aimed at promoting the physical and emotional well-being of infants and children through systematic touch. This paper explores various techniques of pediatric massage, including stroking, rubbing, tapping, effleurage, petrissage, compression, and friction, tailored to different age groups from infants to toddlers and older children. The benefits of pediatric massage, such as enhanced bonding, improved sleep, better digestion, stress reduction, and support for physical development, are discussed. Guidelines for safe and effective practice, including appropriate preparation, technique, and awareness of contraindications, are provided to ensure the best outcomes for the child. This comprehensive overview highlights the value of pediatric massage as a beneficial practice for both healthy children and those with specific medical conditions.
