Abstract: Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) is a prevalent endocrine disorder affecting women of reproductive age. Its management often involves a multifaceted approach, including lifestyle modifications, conventional medications, and complementary therapies. Ayurveda, an ancient system of medicine, offers a holistic approach to healthcare with a focus on personalized treatments. This paper aims to explore the efficacy of Ayurvedic therapies in the management of PCOS. Through a comprehensive review of literature, this paper examines the principles of Ayurveda, Ayurvedic diagnosis of PCOS, and various Ayurvedic therapies including herbs, diet, lifestyle modifications, and Panchakarma procedures. Furthermore, the paper discusses clinical studies evaluating the effectiveness of Ayurvedic interventions in PCOS management, highlighting their potential benefits and limitations. Finally, future research directions and integration strategies for Ayurveda into conventional PCOS management are discussed.
