Abstract

Abstract

Immune system dysfunction underlies many infectious and autoimmune diseases, underscoring the need for effective modulatory strategies. This paper evaluates how diet, hygiene, yoga, and naturopathy influence immune system performance. Nutritional components such as vitamins A, C, D, and zinc are essential for immune cell function and pathogen defense. Hygiene practices prevent pathogen entry and reduce immune system overload. Yoga enhances immune surveillance and reduces inflammatory cytokines through stress reduction and improved autonomic balance. Naturopathy, with therapies like hydrotherapy and herbal supplementation, supports immune regulation by stimulating natural defense mechanisms. By integrating clinical findings with traditional knowledge, this paper presents evidence-based insights into non-pharmacological approaches to enhance immune competence.
