Abstract

Abstract

Chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and obesity are escalating globally, posing a significant challenge to healthcare systems. This paper investigates the contribution of diet, personal hygiene, yoga, and naturopathy in managing and preventing chronic illnesses. Evidence suggests that dietary interventions focusing on nutrient-dense, anti-inflammatory foods can modulate metabolic pathways and reduce disease risk. Hygiene practices contribute indirectly by preventing infections that exacerbate chronic conditions. Yoga improves cardiovascular health, reduces stress, and promotes metabolic regulation through physical activity and breath control. Naturopathy, encompassing hydrotherapy, herbal medicines, and lifestyle counseling, provides complementary strategies to conventional treatments. Through a comprehensive review of clinical trials and traditional methodologies, the paper illustrates how these non-pharmacological interventions offer an integrative path to chronic disease management, improving patient outcomes and reducing healthcare costs
