Advanced Materials & Nanotechnology: Emerging Trends, Applications and Future Scope
Abstract
ABSTRACT Advanced materials and nanotechnology are playing a major role in transforming modern engineering, medicine, electronics and energy sectors. The ability to manipulate materials at atomic and molecular scale has enabled development of materials with superior mechanical strength, thermal stability, electrical conductivity and chemical reactivity. Nanomaterials such as graphene, carbon nanotubes, quantum dots and nanocomposites shows exceptional properties, which are not present in bulk materials. This paper reviews the recent developments in advanced materials and nanotechnology, including synthesis techniques, classifications, and real-world applications. It also discusses challenges related to scalability, toxicity, and cost. The study highlights how nanotechnology is becoming a backbone of next-generation technologies such as flexible electronics, smart coatings, biomedical implants and energy storage systems. Future research directions and potential innovations are also discussed.
