Dr. Snehal Desai, Dr. Rajesh Gupta

Abstract

Introduction: LASIK surgery is widely used to correct vision, but post-LASIK syndrome, characterized by dry eyes and discomfort, remains a challenge. This study investigates the use of homoeopathic remedies to manage these symptoms.

Methods: A study was conducted with 120 post-LASIK patients, divided into a control group and a treatment group receiving homoeopathic remedies like Natrum muriaticum and Pulsatilla.

Results: The treatment group experienced significant improvement in symptoms of dry eyes and discomfort compared to the control group. Tear production and overall eye health were notably better in the homoeopathic group.

Discussion: These findings highlight the potential of homoeopathy in managing post-LASIK syndrome, providing a non-invasive option to enhance patient comfort and recovery.
