Homoeopathic Interventions in Post-Operative Care of Ent Surgeries
Abstract
Introduction: Post-operative care in ENT surgeries often involves managing pain, inflammation, and infection. Traditional medicine provides several options, but there is growing interest in the efficacy of homoeopathic remedies as complementary treatments.
Methods: This study investigates the effects of specific homoeopathic interventions, such as Arnica montana and Bellis perennis, on patients recovering from common ENT surgeries. A double-blind, randomized controlled trial was conducted with 200 participants.
Results: Patients receiving homoeopathic treatment showed a significant reduction in post-operative pain and inflammation compared to the control group. Additionally, a faster recovery rate was observed in the homoeopathic group.
Discussion: The results suggest that homoeopathic remedies can be effectively integrated into post-operative care for ENT surgeries, offering a non-invasive and cost-effective approach to enhancing recovery
