Dynamic and Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM) is gaining importance in cybersecurity as organizations adopt advanced proactive strategies to monitor, assess, and mitigate threats in real?time. Unlike traditional security frameworks that rely on periodic assessments and reactive responses, CTEM emphasizes continuous data analysis, adaptive risk scoring, and automated countermeasures. This review examines how CTEM works, its foundational principles, key technologies, and real?world implementation challenges. It highlights how CTEM can improve threat visibility and response times, while addressing issues related to scalability, data overload, and privacy.
