Intelligent Mechanical Systems with Integrated Thermal Control for Industry 4.0
Abstract
The dawn of Industry 4.0 has revolutionized mechanical systems by
incorporating intelligence, automation, and data-driven decision-making.
However, the increased complexity of operations also demands superior
thermal control mechanisms. Intelligent mechanical systems integrate sensors,Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, and artificial intelligence to monitor both mechanical and thermal parameters in real time. This paper discusses the development of smart thermal-mechanical systems that employ predictive algorithms to optimize performance while reducing energy consumption. Realworld applications in precision manufacturing, robotics, and automated supply chains demonstrate the importance of coupling mechanical efficiency with advanced cooling and heating systems. Additionally, the paper highlights the role of machine learning in predictive fault detection and proactive maintenance. Such integration not only enhances operational continuity but also fosters a safer and more sustainable industrial ecosystem. Future outlooks emphasize the role of digital twins and cyber-physical systems in revolutionizing how thermal and mechanical systems interact in dynamic environments.
