Evaluating Classical Homeopathy in the Management of Irritable Bowel Syndrome

Authors : Priya Patel , Rahul Sharma

Abstract : Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) is a chronic gastrointestinal disorder with limited treatment options. This study assesses the effectiveness of classical homeopathy in managing IBS symptoms. Eighty patients with IBS underwent personalized homeopathic treatment for nine months. Symptom severity, frequency of flare-ups, and patient quality of life were measured using standardized IBS assessment tools. Results showed that 70% of participants experienced significant symptom relief and improved digestive health. These findings indicate that classical homeopathy could offer a promising alternative for IBS management.
