Authors : Dr. Sneha Patel , Dr. Rajat Sharma

Abstract :

Introduction: Recovery from oral surgery often involves managing pain, swelling, and the risk of infection. This study evaluates the effectiveness of homoeopathic remedies in enhancing recovery and minimizing complications post-oral surgery.

Methods: 180 patients undergoing oral surgery were randomized into two groups. One group received standard post-operative care, while the other received additional homoeopathic treatments such as Arsenicum album and Hepar sulphuris.

Results: The homoeopathic group reported significantly lower pain and swelling levels. Additionally, the occurrence of post-surgical infections was lower in this group.

Discussion: These results suggest that homoeopathic remedies can be a valuable adjunct to standard oral surgery post-operative care, potentially improving patient outcomes and comfort.
